BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS REOPENING FOR TOURISM
The paradisal British Virgin Islands have re-opened their borders to international tourists for the first time since March. A popular yachting destination comprised of over 60 islands set in a volcanic archipelago, the news is sure to be welcomed by travelers and those who live on the islands alike as the country looks to restart its tourism sector following Hurricane Irma and the pandemic.
Dominican Republic Updates Travel Entry Requirements
As COVID-19 vaccines become more prevalent, the Dominican Republic has announced updates to its travel entry requirements. Officials in the Dominican Republic revealed the Responsible Tourism Recovery Plan would no longer require travelers to provide a negative coronavirus test upon arrival. Instead, aleatory breath tests will be administered to between 3-15 percent of travelers arriving at airports or other ports of entry.
BELARUS HAS REOPENED FOR TOURISM – MOST COUNTRIES ALLOWED
Belarus has officially reopened for tourism on July 15, 2020 and is now allowing over 70 nations to visit without a 14-day isolation period. Belarus recently updated the list of countries that are permitted to enter without observing a 14-day quarantine.
