On August 12, 2020, Armenia lifted the ban on foreigners entering the country and officially reopened for international tourism. Armenia, a landlocked nation bordering Turkey and Georgia, is one of the oldest countries in the world and is rich with ancient history, ruins and archaeological sites.
Georgia Opens To All Vaccinated Tourists Without Restrictions
Georgia, a country straddling both Europe and Asia, becomes the first nation to allow vaccinated tourists to enter with no testing, quarantines, or other restrictions, leading the way in the new era of travel. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that starting February 1, 2021, all international tourists who wish to enter Georgia by air may now do so, as long as they have received both doses of their Covid-19 vaccine and can provide their certificate of proof.
Greece Drops More Restrictions Aiming To Be Top Destination This Summer
As infection rates continue to decline in Greece, the popular tourist destination removed more restrictions this week as the summer season kicks off. Greece was one of the first countries in Europe to open back up to tourists, implementing forward-thinking amendments to their entry requirements to help streamline the return of visitors.
