Thailand general tourism closed until March 2021
Minister for Sports and Tourism, Pipat Ratchakitprakan, has announced that Thailand’s tourism is close until the second quarter of next year. This means that other tourist visas, such as e-Visa and visa-on-arrival, apart from the new TR and STV visa will still be on hold for now. This move thwarted the hopes of a turnaround in the tourism industry for the 2020/2021 high season.
CHILE TO REOPEN BORDERS FOR TOURISM IN DECEMBER
Chile, one of the last places in the Western Hemisphere to reopen, is finally allowing tourism to return November 23, after being closed for over 8 months. The Ministry of Health made the announcement this week confirming Chile’s official reopening of their borders starting late November.

Zimbabwe is officially reopening borders for international tourism on October 1st The government of Zimbabwe held a cabinet meeting on September 8 and made the decision to reopen international airports and resume inbound tourism on October 1, 2020.
