Armenia Reopening for Tourism – All Countries Welcome
On August 12, 2020, Armenia lifted the ban on foreigners entering the country and officially reopened for international tourism. Armenia, a landlocked nation bordering Turkey and Georgia, is one of the oldest countries in the world and is rich with ancient history, ruins and archaeological sites. Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, is one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and the place where most tourists fly into.
Ethiopia Has Reopened For Tourism: Covid-19 Entry Requirements
Ethiopia has reopened borders on September 23, 2020 and is now again allowing tourists and foreigners to enter the country. Ethiopia was closed for a total of 6 months since closing both land and air borders back on March 23rd in response to the pandemic, which came as a real blow to the country’s economy, throwing it off the record-breaking trajectory it was on.
GUATEMALA REOPENING FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURISM ON SEPTEMBER 18
Guatemala has reopened its international airport for tourists on September 18th, 2020. The reopening was first announced by Juan Antonio Ruiz, president of the Guatemalan Airline Association, earlier on in the month. Guatemala closed it borders back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic but it now looking to revive its tourism sector by resuming commercial flights into the country.
