GUATEMALA REOPENING FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURISM ON SEPTEMBER 18
Guatemala has reopened its international airport for tourists on September 18th, 2020. The reopening was first announced by Juan Antonio Ruiz, president of the Guatemalan Airline Association, earlier on in the month. Guatemala closed it borders back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic but it now looking to revive its tourism sector by resuming commercial flights into the country.

Ecuador has now reopened airports and is one again allowing tourists to enter, but with a few restrictions and rules. Technically, Ecuador has been open for a little while, but was requiring BOTH a 14-day quarantine, as well as a PCR test, upon arrival. That paired with
