Who can currently travel to Switzerland? We have the full country list updated below, which includes the EU/EFTA nations that can currently travel to Switzerland, as well as the third-party countries outside the EU that have just been given permission to travel to Switzerland starting on July 20, 2020.
BRAZIL REOPENING BORDERS FOR TOURISM
Brazil has officially reopened its borders for international tourism, effective immediately, July 29, 2020. In a complete surprise move, Brazil’s government made the decision to lift the current travel ban that has been in place since March. The current ban was set to expire at midnight on July 29th at midnight, and most believed it would be extended due to the epidemiological situation.
COUNTRIES ALLOWED TO TRAVEL TO LUXEMBOURG
Luxembourg officially reopened for tourism on June 15, 2020. Luxembourg first reopened borders to Germany, Belgium and France, and then extended entry to all EU, EFTA and Schengen nations later in June. Starting July 1, Luxembourg also reopened for select third-party nations as suggest by the EU.
