Abu Dhabi to Lift Quarantine Measures for International Travelers in July
International travelers will soon be able to visit Abu Dhabi without needing to quarantine, the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism shared with Travel + Leisure. Starting July 1, the Emirate will end mandatory quarantine protocols for travelers from other countries, including the United States. Currently, travelers entering Abu Dhabi are required to get tested before departure, get tested upon arrival, and self-isolate for 10 days unless they arrive from a "green" country, according to the government. BRAZIL REOPENING BORDERS FOR TOURISM
Brazil has officially reopened its borders for international tourism, effective immediately, July 29, 2020. In a complete surprise move, Brazil’s government made the decision to lift the current travel ban that has been in place since March. The current ban was set to expire at midnight on July 29th at midnight, and most believed it would be extended due to the epidemiological situation.
American tourists are banned from Europe, but not these countries
The good news, at least for Americans with wanderlust: U.S. passport holders can still visit multiple countries in the Caribbean, many states in Mexico (though its land border remains closed), and several farther-flung locales. Canada remains on the no-entry list.
