Phuket, Thailand Opens Doors to Vaccinated Tourists
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced that vaccinated travelers from low-risk countries will be allowed to fly directly to Phuket starting July 1. As of this writing, TAT has not released its list of which countries are considered safe. The president of Botswana announced this week the opening of the country’s borders from November 9. The President’s phased approach saw domestic air travel resume at Botswana’s three key airports: Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in Gaborone, Kasane Airport and Maun Airport.
Turks and Caicos is welcoming tourists from any country
Visitors to Turks and Caicos will need a TCI Assured Travel Authorization in order to board their flight. This is a free authorization which you apply for online. As part of the authorization, you'll need a negative PCR test taken within 5 days of travel; insurance which covers Covid-related medical costs including the possibility of full hospitalization, doctors’ visits, prescriptions, and an air ambulance; and a completed online health screening questionnaire.
