US Virgin Islands Returns to Business After Isaias
The US Virgin Islands has resumed business operations following the passage of Tropical Storm Isaias. While the storm brought heavy rainfall to the area, it had “little to no impact to the territory’s tourism infrastructure,” according to the US Virgin Islands Department of Tourism. St Thomas’ Cyril E. King Airport and St Croix’s Henry E. Rohlsen Airport remain open with normal operations.

Ethiopia was closed for a total of 6 months since closing both land and air borders back on March 23rd in response to the pandemic, which came as a real blow to the country’s economy, throwing it off the record-breaking trajectory it was on.
