Abu Dhabi has reopened for tourism as of December 24 and is allowing all visa-on-arrival eligible nations to visit, with a ‘green’ list of 16 countries that may enter quarantine-free. At a time when we are seeing almost every country announce new closures, restrictions and cancellations, Abu Dhabi’s reopening is some positive news in an otherwise bleak travel environment, even if the entry requirements are a little complex.
Ontario Airport adding nonstop Volaris flights to Mexico City in the fall
ONTARIO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Ontario International Airport (ONT) announced that Volaris will launch nonstop service to Mexico City (MEX) starting in the fall. Volaris will begin the ONT-MEX service November 9, 2020 and reservations and tickets are available now at volaris.com at an introductory price of US$89.99. The new route will complement Volaris’ existing ONT nonstop flight serving Guadalajara (GDL) that began in 2014.
Argentina Reopening Borders – But Only To Five Countries
Argentina – one of the most locked down countries on the planet is finally starting to show signs of reopening as it makes October 30 the day it will reopen borders for tourism to five of it South American neighbors. Starting on October 30th, residents of Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Boliva and Uruguay can enter Argentina by air and sea for the purposes of tourism.
