France Plans to Welcome Tourists Starting June 9
U.S. travelers could be back to exploring the French countryside and iconic attractions like the Louvre and Eiffel Tower in June. French President Emmanuel Macron has laid out a reopening plan that would allow U.S. passport holders to enter France beginning June 9, assuming COVID-19 levels remain under control and visitors can present proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test, The Local France reports.
St Kitts and Nevis’ Model Tourism Reopening
The twin-island federation of St Kitts and Nevis officially reopened its borders for International tourism on Oct. 31, and in the last three months has helped set an example to the rest of the region on how to undertake a safe tourism reopening amid the challenges of the pandemic. Belize Tourism Board: Belize Requires Negative Covid Test for All Travellers
By Aaron Humes: Whether vaccinated or no, starting Monday visitors to the Jewel must first present a negative COVID-19 test as the price of entry. A statement from the Belize Tourism Board issued just a short while ago says, “These measures are being put in place in view of the increased risks posed by recent variants of the Covid-19 virus and in an effort to protect both international visitors and the local population.”
