The French side of St Martin is now officially open for tourism, Caribbean Journal has confirmed. St. Maarten is officially reopening for international tourism on July 1st, following the reopening of Princess Juliana Airport (SXM). In a recent government press statement, tourism minister Ludmila de Weever stated that the country is ready to receive travelers from Europe and North America as of July 1st.
