El Salvador is officially reopening borders for international flights into the San Óscar Arnulfo Romero Airport on September 19, 2020. Since closing their borders back on March 18th, El Salvador has been closed to all international arrivals with the exception of humanitarian, medevac or repatriation flights. On September 10th the government of El Salvador announced the country will finally reopen air borders and will allow international flights to resume on September 19th.

KOSOVO HAS REOPENED FOR TOURISM WITH NO RESTRICTIONS

Kosovo is now open for tourism and has removed all Covid-related travel restrictions and entry requirements for incoming tourists. In fact, Kosovo reopened Pristina airport for international arrivals on June 28th, but we did not report on it right away for lack of official information.


Vaccinated Tourists May Be Able to Travel to Italy by Mid-May, Italian Prime Minister Says

The United Kingdom has become the world's first nation to begin vaccinating its citizens with a fully vetted and authorized Covid-19 shot, a landmark moment in the coronavirus pandemic. The first Briton to get the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine -- 90-year-old Margaret Keenan -- received the first of two doses at 6:31 a.m. local time on Tuesday at University Hospital in Coventry, less than a week after the UK became the first country to approve it.
