Sweden Officially Reopens To U.S. Tourists
Sweden has reopened to U.S. travelers as of June 30th, presenting American tourists with another European destination to visit this summer. The country had banned all non-essential travel from outside EU/EEA nations since March 2020. After February 2021, the ban included a requirement of presenting a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival. Belize Tourism Board: Belize Requires Negative Covid Test for All Travellers
By Aaron Humes: Whether vaccinated or no, starting Monday visitors to the Jewel must first present a negative COVID-19 test as the price of entry. A statement from the Belize Tourism Board issued just a short while ago says, “These measures are being put in place in view of the increased risks posed by recent variants of the Covid-19 virus and in an effort to protect both international visitors and the local population.”
