GUATEMALA REOPENING FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURISM ON SEPTEMBER 18
Guatemala has reopened its international airport for tourists on September 18th, 2020. The reopening was first announced by Juan Antonio Ruiz, president of the Guatemalan Airline Association, earlier on in the month. Guatemala closed it borders back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic but it now looking to revive its tourism sector by resuming commercial flights into the country.
French Polynesia, Caribbean Islands Closing Its Borders to All Tourists
French Polynesia and islands in the French Caribbean have closed their borders as new coronavirus variants surge around the world. French Polynesia, which boasts overwater bungalows and brilliant aqua water over 118 Islands, including Tahiti and Bora Bora, will cut off travel from all countries on Feb. 3, according to Tahiti Tourisme.
ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA REOPENING TO INTERNATIONAL TOURISTS JUNE 4TH
Antigua and Barbuda has officially reopened to international visitors on June 4th. The island will welcome its first international flight since the island shut its borders due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
