SEYCHELLES NOW REOPEN FOR TOURISM – HERE’S WHO CAN VISIT
On June 1st the Seychelles reopened to tourists from 19 countries, with another round of countries being added since the original reopening. (Updated lists below) The Seychelles officially announced the first two cases of Covid-19 on March 14, 2020 and since the islands were quick to respond and contain, the nation has decided to reopen tourism in a staged process.
American tourists are banned from Europe, but not these countries
The good news, at least for Americans with wanderlust: U.S. passport holders can still visit multiple countries in the Caribbean, many states in Mexico (though its land border remains closed), and several farther-flung locales. Canada remains on the no-entry list.
Guatemala Has Reopened For International Tourism
Guatemala has reopened its international airport for tourists on September 18th, 2020. The reopening was first announced by Juan Antonio Ruiz, president of the Guatemalan Airline Association, earlier on in the month. Guatemala closed it borders back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic but it now looking to revive its tourism sector by resuming commercial flights into the country.
